Joaquim Overcomes Any Hurdle
He is one month old and was born with a mild cleft palate. He wasn't able to be fed by his Mom because of his lip and he was half the size of his brothers, so I decided to take him and start feeding him with a bottle and special milk. He is full of energy and personality! He was named after Joaquin Phoenix.

What an absolutely adorable little kitty
Thank you guys! Joaquim is living with me for almost a week now and I'm in the process of introducing him to my older cat, Jujuba... she is having a hard time because I took care of her since she was only 2 days old, but Joaquim is so adorable that she is getting to like him really fast. This morning she came to him for the first time!
Joaquim is growing really fast over this last week! More and more beautiful every day!!!

So cute,I feel so sad for him though.I hope he has surgery for his lip and ends up looking purrrrfect.
Thanks for the comments! He is really cute. We chose not to put him under the stress of a surgery, since is just his lip that is split. He eats perfectly and make funny noises when he drinks water! I wish I could post updated pics of him! He is 4 months old now and huge!
