Fremont is Healthy Now!

Fremont is our beautiful, sweet little lady. We're not sure how old she is, probably somewhere between 2-5yrs old. When we adopted her from the Humane Society she was seriously underweight, malnourished and very, very sick. She had lost all of the hair on her nose (which you can see in one of the photos), ears and in patches on her back and was under 7 pounds but it was obvious that was about half of the weight she should have been. I took a week off of work to nurse her back to health, during which we bonded so strongly, I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have this little angel brought in to my life! A month later I had shoulder surgery and she didn't leave my side (well, my tummy!) while I recovered for 2 weeks in bed. She loves to sleep and cuddle as close to our faces as possible, but no matter how happy we know she is, she always looks angry. This just makes her even more endearing! Her nose, ear and back hair has all grown back in the 5 months she has been in our home and she is a healthy 14 pounds.
